Currently, with the development of information technology and the transition of schoolchildren to distance learning due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19, as well as air pollution in connection with forest fires in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the problem of preserving the health of the population, especially children and adolescents, is becoming acute for early detection of unfavorable tendencies and their recovery through education and upbringing. The article analyzes the current state of physical culture lessons at school, and also provides a comparative analysis of physical development, physical activity, the peculiarities of the daily routine and nutrition of 10—13 year old schoolchildren in rural and urban areas. The choice of this age category is due to the beginning of the transition period and a special susceptibility to external factors; during this period children are actively gaining muscle strength, which reaches its peak at the age of 15. A comparative analysis of the nutrition of schoolchildren with the traditional diet of the Sakha people is carried out, ananalysis of physical activity during the COVID-19 pandemic (from 2019 to the present) and annual forest fires (2020—2021) shows a low level of physical activity of children, which is below the level recommended by the WHO (at least 1 hour a day). Thus, the relevance of this study lies in considering the problems of increasing the physical activity of 10—13 year old children and familiarizing them with physical culture and sports to preserve the health of the younger generation in the modern conditions of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The article raises the problem of improving modern physical culture lessons at school, which requires a different approach, mastering new technologies and methods to in crease interest in physical culture and sports. Physical culture at school should follow the modern conditions of society, and the main goal should be to improve the health of young people, to teach them a responsible attitude to their health.

The article describes students’ research work in the field conditions of the expeditions that were carried out in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The Scientific and Educational Center of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Sakha(Yakutia) implements the main tasks of additional education for children through a specially organized educational process, the dominant of which is the development of a child’s motivation for cooperation, creativity, knowledge, and self-development. The main goal of the work is to create and organize a scientific and educational space for students in the republic, providing a condition for the development of children’s natural inclinations and creative abilities. An important feature of the additional education process of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Sakha(Yakutia) is the consistent training of students in the study and research of natural phenomena, material and spiritual values in the form of educational field trips, expeditions, and individual research activities which are then summarised at scientific and practical conferences, contributing to the development of children’s speaking and writing skills. Thus, students’ researchwork currently plays a huge role in educational process, sinceeven an inconspicuous student can become a successful person in this competitive world. The basic step-by-step work of a schoolchildren’s research expedition is described. The developed mechanism for organizing scientific research expeditions of schoolchildren has played a huge role in their scientific activities. Based on the results of the studied, collected materials in the field conditions of an expedition, students enter the largearena of scientific and practical conferences. Thus, students’ research activities can become an important factor in preparing for and choosing a future profession, improving the quality ofthe implementation of educational programs, and contributing to students’ intellectual self-development.

The article is devoted to the analysis of young specialists’ adaptation in the municipal entity of rural areas. The administration of the municipal entity resolves important issues of the social and economic development of the territory; therefore it is very important that the competent personnel manage the strategies implementation. The issues of personnel adaptation in the regional rural municipal entities of the Russian Federation are poorly studied. The expediency of studying is proved by need of systematic and complex work on adaptation of young specialists for work in administrations of municipal entities in rural areas. The purpose of the article consists in development of recommendations ained at increasing the efficiency of the mechanisms of adaptation. Personnel work in administrations of the municipal entities includes the number of issues starting with formation of personnel structure, maintaining personal records, service records, certification and the questions of a talent pool, the solution of other questions specified in the Federal Law. It should be noted that the circle of questions ofpersonnel work regulated by the Federal law does not include adaptation of young specialists. In our opinion, it is a legal regulation defect. Adaptation is an entry of young specialist into a position. The sociological research was conducted in the municipal entity “City of Nyurba” for identification of the weak points connected with the issues of adaptation. It is revealed that there is no either well-targeted or systematic work on adaptation of young specialists, or programs for adaptation. Based on the results of research, the proposals for adaptation of young specialists in the municipal entity of rural areas are developed. Recommendations are related to the types of professional, psycho-physiological and socio-economic adaptation. It is necessary to develop such mechanisms as guidance, mentoring and badding in the personnel work of the municipal service.

The task of developing functional literacy in students today does not lose its relevance. Teachers are faced with the task of effectively integrating tasks for the formation of functional literacy into the educational process in the context of the implementation of updated Federal State Educational Standards, which requires constant improvement of professional competencies in this area. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the improvement of professional competence of English language teachers in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in the formation of functional literacy. The article describes the mechanism for the implementation of advanced training courses on the formation of functional literacy of students in English lessons in the context of the implementation of the updated Federal State Educational Standards. The authors come to the conclusion that the implementation of these practice-oriented courses helps to improve the professional competence of teachers, which leads to their effective professional activities.

The purpose of the study is to substantiate the development of professional activities of a teacher in rural schools in Yakutia in the context of a digital transformation of education. The research objectives are to conduct a theoretical analysis of the research of foreign and domestic authors in the field of digital transformation of education; based on the analysis of the implementation of distance learning by teachers using modern digital tools, organize advanced training to form the information competence of teachers in rural schools of the republic. The leading research methods are the method of expert assessments and statistical processing of quantitative research results. It is assumed that the organization of advanced training courses on the development of digital competencies contributes to the successful organization of distance and mixed forms of education in the rural areas of Yakutia. The results of the study lie in the development by rural teachers of practical knowledge and skills in the use of modern educational platforms and e-learning tools, which leads to their effective professional activity in the context of digitalization of education.

The article discusses the feasibility of introducing online learning opportunities in the Arctic zone of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The purpose of the study is to determine the possibilities of online learning in the Arctic zone, taking into account the specifics of the region. As the main tasks, the works of experts on the Arctic were studied, where the authors characterize the features of the lifestyle, value orientations of the population of the Arctic; presents the results of a sociological survey of specialists living and working in the Arctic zone, confirming the potential for the development of online learning in the republic. It is assumed that when introducing online learning with its advantages, it is advisable to approach its implementation individually.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the practice of transition to online education. The research objectives are to argue the relevance of the problem under study; to consider effective approaches to the organization of online-education in higher education. The research methods are comparative analysis and pedagogical observations. The given results show the effectiveness of non-formal approaches, namely, in enhancing motivation and self-actualization of learners.
