In article is investigated the diachronic aspect of epic singing of Yakuts on the basis of consideration of regional specifics of execution of tunes in Olonkho. It was revealed that in traditional singing of the Siberian ethnic the timbre was the differentiating sign of genres. In the Yakut epic singing is a kylysakh. Features of its execution correspond to singing of the Siberian Turkic peoples and the kylysakh is an ancient substratum in the Yakut national song which remained in Leno-Vilyuysk tradition of Yakuts’ singing. Therefore, other traditions of the Yakut singing were formed in later time. In process of removal from the center of Yakutia the kylysakh is replaced with a grace note. Singsongs of syllables too are replaced short, or, for example, in the Verkhoyansk tradition, one sound is the share of one syllable.
