Natural ecosystems in southern Yakutia have been subject to strong anthropogenic impacts in recent decades. Coal mining activities in the area affect the dynamics of forest phytocenoses. Although visible changes in the growth and evolution of the forests are difficult to detect over a short period of investigations, however, methods of dendroclimatic analysis can determine the intensity of effects from mining activities on radial growth of trees. Mining operations at the Neryungri open-pit coal mine lead to dust contamination of the surrounding areas. Fhis impact is especially strong south-east of the mine due to north-westerly winds. Dust accumulates on the snowcover surface throughout the winter and, reducing its albedo, accelerates snow melting. This influences the hydrothermal regime of soils in springtime. As a result, anthropogenic alteration of the soil microclimate occurs which would affect the seasonal growth of trees and be recorded in annual increment of tree growth. The present paper discusses the effect of dust sources on radial growth of larch and pine.

The article presents literature data on the interaction between the influence of technogenic pollution of the environment (pollutants) and development of stroke in different countries. In recent years, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the stroke has significantly improved, but there is a significant difference in epidemiological indicators in different countries and regions of Russia. The difference in morbidity and mortality from cerebrovascular diseases can be explained by the environmental situation in the studied regions. In the polluted areas, there is a high morbidity and mortality from cerebrovascular diseases and stroke. Even a short-term increase in the level of pollutants in the air increases the number of hospitalizations for stroke. Russian studies of the relationship betweenthe ecological situation and stroke was conducted in the industrial cities of Yaroslavl and Ufa. The studies show a clear link between air pollution and different pollutants with the severity of stroke. The obtained data testify to the impact of environmental pollution on the growth of morbidity and mortality from ischemic stroke but not hemorrhagic. The negative effect of pollutants was somewhat more pronounced in the cold season. The study of the influence of air pollution on epidemiological indicators of stroke will allow us to develop effective methods of primary prevention in polluted regions

Temperature is the most important environmental factor affecting humans and animals. The effect of low temperatures on biological objects depends on the degree of phylogenetic maturity of the organism and is realized through various mechanisms including in vitro and in vivo conditions. The report discusses the mechanisms of cold and ischemic damage to biological objects, examines the mechanisms of damage to tissues and organs after heating and cryoprotection products of biological objects. Particular attention is paid to preparations of pharmacological protection of tissues with antioxidant properties from cold ischemia.
